By using MacroSee ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

MacroSee is a nutrition tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to estimate the macronutrient content of food from photographs. The Service is available as a web application and a mobile application.

2. Not Medical or Dietary Advice

• MacroSee is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition
• The AI-generated macronutrient estimates may be inaccurate — they are best guesses based on visual analysis
• You should not make medical or dietary decisions based solely on information from MacroSee
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalised nutrition advice

3. Account and Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may only create one account per person

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and data you submit to MacroSee. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g. sending photos to AI providers for analysis).

6. Intellectual Property

The MacroSee name, logo, and application code are the property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

MacroSee relies on third-party services (including AI providers and authentication services) to function. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. See our Privacy Policy for details on which services are used and what data is shared.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any nutritional estimates
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to health outcomes based on nutritional estimates
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service (currently free)

9. Service Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep MacroSee available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

10. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
